A mail alias is a special address that sends email to one or more real mailboxes.
For example, you may have configured the following addresses:
You can then set up a Mail Alias called sales@yourdomain.com, which will send email to both of these addresses.

When an email arrives for the alias, it will be sent to all of the mail addresses you have selected.
