• CrimsonEdit - Another powerful developers text editor (Free), next best thing to UltraEdit
• Eclipse - Open Source IDE, preferred by many developers these days. Allows (requires) plugins for editing various types of file. Integrates with many other tools such as Subversion and CruiseControl
